What is so important about getting a good referral for your next REALTOR®?I’ll tell you!We at Castle Hills Real Estate take real estate referrals very seriously… one, because we love our Clients (past, present and future!) and would only refer them to someone we know and trust; and two, because we think referring an Agent to someone is the “right thing to do” when they are looking to buy or sell outside of our geographical area of expertise. As Real Estate Professionals, we think it would be a major “disservice” to you (the potential Buyer or Seller) if we took your listing or agreed to find you your next new home in an area that we are not familiar with!Markets vary greatly from city to city, town to town and even subdivision to subdivision!Take Castle Hills subdivision in Lewisville where we are located for instance; there are no less than 9 phases, each with subsections!We like to think that we are experts here, and in the immediate surrounding communities in which we work and play, such as North Carrollton, Lewisville, The Colony, Frisco, Little Elm and West Plano!Why?Because we keep up with the housing market in each of these locations and have experience with helping past Clients buy and sell there. And believe me… the markets change weekly!Especially now with the pandemic and the low inventory of homes currently available!Here are some criteria that we look for in an Agent that we would refer:
They must be a licensed REALTOR® vs. just a real estate sales agent.A REALTOR® is a dues paying member of the National Association of REALTORS®, which abides by a strict code of ethics, and one who is also a member of their local Board of REALTORS®.As a REALTOR®, we have access to MLS (Multiple Listing Service) which means we can search for homes to purchase for Buyers as well as market a Seller’s home to the largest amount of potential people who are seriously looking to buy now.
They must primarily focus on a certain geographical area…in other words, they must be experts in the communities in which they help Clients buy or sell in…just like we are at Castle Hills Real Estate!
Whenever possible, we refer CRS Agents, or Certified Residential Specialists.A CRS sells more real estate and closes more transactions than the average real estate professional as a result of having to earn their designation through education requirements and sales volume.Much like a Doctor or Lawyer who has to earn theirs.
We also refer Agents with whom we’ve had great experiences working with in the past…referring only those that value integrity and honesty and who have a vast amount of real estate knowledge!
So, know that if you work with US, you will be taken care of by experts who know what they are doing.And if we refer you to another REALTOR®, trust that you will still be in good hands!
