It’s November… typically a time when we reflect on what we are thankful for, as Thanksgiving falls on the 4th Thursday of the month. This got me thinking about what we should be thankful for in the world of Real Estate! There are many things that come to mind:
The October 2017 Tierra Grande magazine says, “While affordability has decreased for both the nation and the state since the end of the housing crash, Texas and its major metro areas remain affordable to most homebuyers.”
We are experiencing a ton of new business growth in North Dallas due to the many corporations that have moved their headquarters here! With this new business growth comes new restaurants, retail stores and entertainment venues; all of which contribute to our economy by adding jobs!
New Construction Builders often offer great DEALS this time of year on their inventory homes; they want to get them all under contract before the year’s end.
Interest rates remain historically LOW.
Mortgage lenders are loosening up… many are lowering their credit score and down payment requirements.
Home values are continuing to increase. While this may be an issue for some Buyers, it’s awesome for Sellers!
So, as we approach Thanksgiving and the upcoming holiday season… take a minute to be thankful… not just in the world of real estate, but in general as well!
Have a Happy Thanksgiving from us at Castle Hills Real Estate!
Submitting an offer on a home without ever setting foot inside is not new… and now with the COVID-19 Pandemic, it has become more common place for buyers who simply don't want to take any risks. But is this a smart thing to do?
